Below is a list of all of the Biblical movies that I’ve watched and which are free to stream on YouTube. Be warned that most of these movies are SUPER old but still convey the messages that God delivers to this day.
Jesus of Nazareth - This movie is around 6 hours long but is definitely worth it!
JESUS - A docudrama on the life of Jesus Christ based on the Gospel of Luke, it has been translated into more than 1,000 languages since its release in 1979. It remains the most translated and viewed movie in history!
The Life of Jesus - Almost 3 hours long but yet another amazing movie, based on the Gospel of John.
The Passion of the Christ - Mel Gibson created this famous epic movie depicting the final twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem.
The Book of Daniel - Amazing movie with great acting!!
The Book of Genesis - Based on the first book of the Bible, Genesis is a sweeping and poetic look at the beginning of man's relationship with God.
The Old Testament - Its brought alive in this enthralling movie.
Herod the Great - Herod, King of Judea, is made a prisoner by the Romans. Convinced the King is dead, his faithful lieutenant, Aaron, is nevertheless unable to keep his promise to kill the Queen if something untoward happened to the King.
Full of Grace - It's an unprecedented look at Mary of Nazareth in her last earthly days as she helps the fractious early Church regain their original encounter with her Son, Jesus Christ.
The Story of Joseph and his Brethren - A brother is cast out of his family, sold in to slavery and then returns years later as a man of power - but shows forgiveness and compassion to his family through the strength of character given to him by God.
The Story of Ruth - (1960) As a child, Ruth is sold to a group of pagans and reared to be a priestess to their gods and idols. But, as an adult, she meets the Hebew Mahlon, and is intrigued by his mortality and monotheism. She eventually falls in love with him and adopts his faith.
One Night with the King - Based on Esther in the Bible.
The Ark - Based on the flood in the Old Testament with Noah leading the way.
The Apostle Peter - Tormented by his denial of Christ, Peter spent his life attempting to atone for his failures. Now as he faces certain death at the hand of Nero, will he falter again, his weakness betray him, or will he rise up triumphant in his final moment?
The Ten Commandments - (2006) This is a miniseries that dramatized the biblical story of Moses. It ran on the ABC TV network. The series was filmed in Egypt, Mount Sinai, and Sinai Peninsula.
Magdalena - (2011) This movie portrays the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Mary Magdalene, and demonstrates how He values women by focusing on historical accounts of His interaction with them.
The Acts of the Apostles - Watch this film to find out how the Holy Spirit worked amazing and incredible signs and wonders through the apostles in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
AD the Bible Continues - Full Bible movie.
Sodom & Gomorrah - (1962) Based on the story of the Hebrew leader Lot, who leads his people to a fertile valley adjacent to the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah, hotbeds of vice and corruption ruled by the merciless Queen Bera.
David Vs. Goliath - (2015) Two ancient empires clash and a simple shepherd uses his sling to battle a fearsome giant.
David & Goliath - (1961) The Old Testament story of David & Goliath comes to life in this classic adaptaion from acclaimed director Orson Welles.
Son of God - (2014) This movie takes us through Jesus' humble beginnings in the barn, to the gatherings of his followers, his march to Jerusalem, and all of the miracles that he performed along the way.
